Guwahati: Residents of Guwahati can now enjoy a world-class restaurant experience with McDonald’s, one of the most loved brands in India, opening its first restaurant at Beekay Towers, Ground and First floor, Ganeshguri, Guwahati, Assam. Spread over an area of 6,700 sq. ft. and a seating capacity of 220, Guwahati is McDonald’s largest restaurant in North and East India region, featuring a contemporary look and feel with globally inspired décor, furniture, and exterior design, offering a warm and welcoming restaurant environment. 

 Announcing the restaurant launch, Rajeev Ranjan, Managing Director, McDonald’s India – North and East, said, “We are excited to launch our first restaurant in the Northeast India. Guwahati, being the gateway for the Northeast India, is a strategic location for us paving way for future expansion possibilities. Our presence here is a step towards making the world-class McDonald's experience accessible to people of Guwahati and part of our expansion plans in the Northeast region. We believe that McDonald's, with a wide range of menu across dayparts and a superlative restaurant experience, will be able to delight the residents of Guwahati. We extend a warm welcome to our customers here.”

 For greater convenience, McDonald’s is equipped with self-ordering digital kiosks and offering table service. Customers can place their order at the kiosk that are staffed with guest experience leaders to assist in the ordering process, and skip the front counter entirely, with their food brought right to their table.

 As a truly ‘GLOCAL’ brand, McDonald’s will serve a variety of India-led innovations as well as global favorite menu items. At Guwahati, McDonald’s will serve Maharaja Mac, McVeggie, McChicken, McAloo Tikki, Chicken McGrill, Butter Chicken and Butter Paneer burgers, McSpicy, burger and wraps, along with McDonald’s World Famous FriesTM, refreshing beverages and desserts.

 McDonald’s sources ingredients for its menu items from farmers and suppliers across India, who form an integral part of the business and share McDonald’s commitment of food quality and safety. All McDonald’s suppliers have state-of-the-art, globally recognized food safety systems and processes such as HACCP, and GMP.  These comprehensive quality checks, from farm to table, ensure that customers can enjoy safe and delicious food every time they choose McDonald’s.
